After a long break from the live events due to the worldwide health crisis, Eurovent Market Intelligence (EMI) team was pleased and grateful for being able to participate, finally in person, in the Europe’s biggest HVAC-R fair in Milan, Mostra Convegno Expocomfort. Sharing a booth with Eurovent Certita Certification and PRODBIM, EMI team were present at the fair during the entire exhibition.
It was a real pleasure for EMI team to be back at the field, connecting with our public once again. We got to chance to greet our usual participants and meet some of our usual contacts for the first time in person. Often, we agreed that it is important and nice thing to put a face to a name to get to know each other better.
We also met some manufacturers who are eventually interested in EMI statistics collections. Our polyglot team provided those manufacturers with the information in several languages, namely in English, Italian, French, and Turkish.
It was also a good opportunity to hear the comments of HVAC-R manufacturers regarding the hot topics of the sector such as component shortage, F-gas regulations, etc. to construct this year’s qualitative surveys, to eventually be included in the upcoming qualitative EMI report “Special Annual Report 2022”. As many of you would know, EMI started to publish a qualitative market report per year in 2020 since the arrival of Covid-19 crisis, as the sector was quite flagrant and dependent on the unpredictable qualitative factors. Realising the need for qualitative comments in addition to the statistical data, EMI decided to continue these reports and investigated post-covid trends and challenges in 2021. The previous reports can be found under the “Publications” segment. This year, the report will focus on the large-scale component shortage problems, the new European regulations, and the impact of the war in Ukraine on the sector. The report will be available for purchase in late September 2022.
This year’s partner country Türkiye, and the responsible national associations İSİB and İSKİD did an amazing job in Milan. With 139 Turkish participants, the presence of Türkiye was impressive. As EMI, we were very glad to meet so many of our Turkish participants, as well as new actors from Türkiye while having some Turkish coffee or tea on the booths.
Before the end of the year, the EMI team will also be present and pleased to meet the various actors of the sector at the Interclima (Paris, France), Chillventa (Nürnberg, Germany), SIFA (Lyon, France), and Eurovent Summit (Antalya, Turkey). Make sure to check our online calendar to keep up with the EMI schedule.
